Jon is our Technical Software Developer.

After graduating with a BSc in Chemistry in 1992, he retrained as a Software Engineer. He has been working as a Software Developer since 1994 and first joined the company as an Analyst Programmer in 1997 when it was Weir Systems Ltd.

He then left in 2000 to work for a company in Leicester as a Senior Analyst Programmer developing software on Windows written in C++, Delphi and Java.

In 2014 he joined an electronics kit supplier as a lone developer to develop an in-house sales order and stock control system using Microsoft Access VBA.

He has since returned to Optimise Systems in 2016 as Technical Software Developer. His main role is to research and incorporate new functionality into Prodigy such as PDF document production and user interface improvements.
